Some bloggers are giggling over Apple’s re-use of the QuickTake trademark for an iPhone 11 feature. Well, I owned both of the original QuckTake digital cameras, and one thing that is vastly unappreciated about the QuickTake 100 is that it was scriptable. You could attach the camera to your Mac (using ADB cable) the use AppleScript to snap and download photos!

This excellent checklist is written for coders to become Senior Engineers, but almost all of it also applies to positions like technical writing. I found myself nodding in agreement many times while reading it. It’s well worth reading if you’re hoping to climb the ladder.
