Revisited: Shave Well Mirror
Hexopedia: A review

Is that an Anker sore?

OK, the title of this post is horrible. But forgive me, it's April Fool's Day here in the U.S. and I'm overwhelmed with bad puns via Twitter.

This is actually a very positive post about Anker's line of power-related USB accessories. First up, their 60W 6-port USB Charger. It's well made, looks good, and has been working well for me over the last 3 months or so. Comes with a nice, long regular cord so it doesn't crowd an outlet, and you can easily swap out the right cables for your devices. The only downside is that it creates a bit of an octopus-like mess if you have all of the ports full at once. Don't let this discourage you though, as it's still better than have six different, separate chargers. Anker sells this as something you could travel with, but it's too bulky for my tastes. Makes a great home or office accessory though.

Next, the Anker Lipstick Portable Charger. This thing comes packaged like an Apple product, with a build quality almost to match. They even give you a nice cord and carrying pouch. I bought it for the purpose of powering a USB desk lamp (from IKEA) but I've ended up taking it with me while traveling. For $12 it brings some peace of mind and is very easy to carry.
