It's a shame that there isn't a good ePub reader for Mac OS X. (Yes, I'm aware of Calibre and Stanza. I said a "good" .)
Oh! Wait! There's BookReader! Man am I glad that I discovered this somehow. Try it, you won't regret it. It's not perfect, but much better than anything else I've tried.
