Professor Homunculus, a fellow magician and Mac user, has a website called Math Mojo where you can learn how to do rapid calculations and other neat tricks. They're fun and interesting, but they also make day-to-day math much easier. There's a lot to explore at the site, but so far my favorite has been the Left-to-Right Subtraction technique; I wish I had learned this years ago!
