I'm a sucker for self-published books when they have instructional value and do-it-yourself attitude. How to build DV camera stabilizers, cranes, and other rigs is a great example, and if my DV camera saw any more use than it does (very little, really) I'd be tempted to dive into a project or two. But alas, watching the sample QT movies will have to be good enough to satisfy my curiosity and project envy.
