My friend Tom posed a puzzling question the other night. There's no Tab key on iPad's onscreen keyboard, so how does one enter a tab? After looking in the Pages for iPad Help, I found the answer. There's a toolbar button, see screenshot.

I've just updated to ISO5 and the tab option has disappeared. Any ideas?

It looks like they changed the function of that button to cover Allignment selection.
The new way to add a page break is to hold down your finger on the page until the Button Popup (Select/Select All/Paste/->) appears. Touch the arrow, then touch Insert to get the Tab/Line Break... selector as shown above. It also includes a new item - footnote.
